Python and Data Science Track

This track dedicated to data science was added due to popular demand, especially from middle and high school students. Python has emerged as the second most popular programming language after JavaScript and has surpassed Java in terms of wide use in many different fields. For the field of data science and statistics, python is definitely the most popular language and has so many libraries and tools to help solve problems in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. This popular track has multiple courses including Introduction to Python, which is a beginner’s introduction to the Python programming language. This introductory python programming course can be taken by students without prior programming experience. It is intended for middle and high school students who would like to learn Python. Students can then move to intermediate and advanced courses that combine statistics and python as well as introduce various python libraries needed for data science. There are also courses in the field of Internet of Things (IoT) included in this track that show students how to program the Raspberry Pi or Drones.
